Pure Blonde
Check this beer out if you haven't already. It is low in carbs but is a full strength beer.
Pure Blonde: A beer released by Carlton & United Beverages, squarely aimed at the health conscious beer drinkers, offers a less fattening option. This is a low-carbohydrate beer with fair complexion and a surprisingly full bodied taste. While this beer may be low in carbs, it certainly is not low in alcohol content – yes a full strength beer to be sure (4.6%)! In fact, 20% less carbohydrates than standard, full strength beers. Pure Blonde contains only 0.9 grams of carbohydrates per 100mL (or 125kj / 100mL). Full strength, low carb beers are reasonably new to Australia, yet market leaders in the United States. Pure Blonde delivers 1.3 standard drinks per 355mL bottle.
We went out last night for a meal (after stuffing around the car yard picking up our new car that seems to take forever to get the paper work done), and I ordered my favorite warm beef salad but felt like a beer last night lol. Always worring about calories and carbs I thought there is no way Im having a beer. So I walked up to the bar to see what I could have and saw this Pure Blonde beer, I could only just see that it had low carbs written on it. So hubby got it for me. It was nice, and it hit the spot so to speak.

Carbs per 100ml - 3.5g
Calories per 100ml - 41
Love the name of it LOL
I am not a beer drinker in fact i am not a drinker if i smell alcohol i get giddy LOL

We tend to go out a couple of nights a week.
ANd I do prefer a nice red but last night I felt like a beer lol.

Yes Splice I think that I have been drinkin this beer for over 12 months now, it is sooooooo nicccceee & I do crack a little tanty if they dont have it!!!
All of my friends drink it at gym as well!!!
The first time I asked for it at a night club the poor little fellow behind the bar didn't know that such a beer existed and i always play tricks on them so he thought that when I said "I'll have a pure blonde" he thought that I was jokin. Gave him a red face when I pointed it out in the fridge.

I'm afraid beer is just not my drink. I've tried drinking it before as other people just seem to like it so much but... NOPE!! Can't see what the fuss is about... LOL!! Wine and spirits for me (well just water at the moment... hehehe!!) xxx

I think I've gotta get out more often - I've never heard of this beer. Gonna have to go looking for it now!
I'm forever wondering with all those pre-mix spirit drinks that are so popular, why they dont make a "diet" version of them... like scotch and diet coke. Or maybe they have and I just dont get out enough to know!! lol!
