I am still so very drained today. I woke up this morning feeling great for the first 10 minutes, from then it's been down hill.
I even managed a mean leg session today, I can't believe I made my numbers today. I had to take my time as I flet a bit light headed after doing the dreaded lunges.
I can't stand lunges, they are the hardest exercise in the world. And I do them after squats!
God I almost cried when I saw I had to do 3 sets of 12 reps with close to 40kgs. Any other day and I only would have complained only a little, but today I wanted to scream!!!
Got through that and still had hamstrings and cardio to get through, how did I do it? I can't even be bothered to stand for more then 2 seconds right now, that is how drained I feel.
The good news is, I have a day off from the gym tomorrow. I hope to be back to normal by Thursday.
You're doing well babe - keep it up :) A well deserved rest day tomorrow, it'll do you the world of good and you'll be powering through the workouts again the day after :)
40kg lunges!!! I'm not surprised you wanted to cry, I would too! You'll have an amazing butt when you're done though ;) lol
I'm sending you some of my energy! I've been (very, very) naughty with cadbury creme eggs today, so lots of energy to share around lmao!

The low energy levels won't last. Make sure you get plenty of sleep and try to reduce any stress levels in your life. This is coming from someone who has just been through a slump herself. I cannot emphasise enough how one thing helped me recover...
REST REST AND MORE REST!!

What you're experiencing is pretty normal at the moment so keep on soldiering on. Like anything you will get used to it and adapt, funnily enough you do. LOL!! You're not alone on this journey and I hope that you take comfort in knowing that. :o)

Geees I must be the only person in the world that loves to do squats & lunges, I know what you are thinking I am a sick, sick puppy, but hey, I can now both squat & lunge 75kg that's 1.5 times my body weight I am really impressed with this. Splice you will get to love the squats & lunges soon enough, good work on the 40kg's you seem to be powering along.
Just ready Beki's comment, but must not cave into the cadbury creme eggs, sooooooo niiiicccceee but sooooo nauuuuggghhtttyy.
Must give self mental slap for even thinking about them.

Actually I love squats, it's lunges I hate.
My BP on squats are 100kgs.
But that is not when im dieting like this and lacking energy.
P.s. Stop with the choc eggs already, I am starting to crave them lol.
